Over the last four months, Citrimer has been participating in the Michigan Business Challenge (MBC) - a multi-stage, 4-month business plan competition hosted by the Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Citrimer is developing novel materials derived entirely from citrus plant waste that can rival and exceed legacy, crude oil-derived materials in terms of performance, unit cost, and manufacturability.
During the final round of MBC, Citrimer pitched to several panels of investors and took home:
🍊 the Pryor-Hale First Place Invention Track Award
🍊 the OneMagnify Best in Business Award
🍊 the Michigan Investment Challenge Award
🍊 the MBC Elevator Pitch Award
